Ida Belle Middleton, 86, Taylorsville

Ida Belle Middleton, 86, of Taylorsville, died Monday, March 18, 2013, in Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born June 14, 1926, in Nelson County and was the daughter of the late George Edward and Daisy Moore Middleton.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Della Ray Lutz; and four brothers, Frank Middleton, James Middleton, Robert Middleton and Elmore Middleton.

Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Tindle of Louisville, and Daisy Lillian Carrier of Mount Washington; one brother, Ernest (Betty) Middleton and his wife, Betty, both of Todds Point; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Jesse Baxter officiating. Burial is in Riverview Baptist Church Cemetery at Cox’s Creek.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
