TANDY LEE WELCH

Tandy Lee Welch, 46, of Bardstown, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. He was born on Aug. 15, 1966, in Nelson County. He was an employee for Cook Construction, a former employee of American Greetings, a member of New Salem Baptist Church and an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl “ Bill” Welch Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Masden Welch of Bardstown; two daughters, Michelle Emerson of Cox’s Creek and Brittany Ziminski of Lebanon Junction; one son, Cody Ziminski of Lebanon Junction; his mother, Linda Whitney Welch of Bardstown; two sisters, Debra Runner and her husband Troy, both of Chaplin and Jessica Welch of Bardstown; and three grandchildren, Courtney Hillard, Hannah Hillard and Maddilyn Helm.

The funeral was 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Cox’s Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Bratcher officiating. Burial is in St. Gregory Church Cemetery.

Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
