RONALD LYNN ADAMS

Ronald Lynn Adams, 56, of Loretto, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at University Hospital. He was born March 17, 1957, in Bardstown. He was an employee of Barton Brands Distillery for 34 years and also a roofer. He loved family time, hunting mushrooms, and enjoyed playing Hillbilly Clem at the Nelson County FFA corn maze.

He was preceded in death by his son, Franklin “Paul” Adams; and his father, Paul Adams.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Diane Adams of Loretto; one daughter, Andrea Yates and her husband Kevin, both of Bardstown; three sons, Jesse Adams of Bardstown, Bryan Adams, and Randy Adams and his wife Heather, all of Loretto; his mother, Shirley Ann Downs Adams of Loretto; three sisters, Vickie (Danny) Bartley and her husband Danny, both of Bardstown, Rebecca Adams of Bloomfield, and Susie Johnson and her husband Bobby, both of Lebanon; three brothers, David Adams, and Pat Adams and his wife Terri, all of Bardstown, and Bill Adams and his wife Sue, both of Willisburg; and three grandchildren, Katie Yates, Raylen Yates, and Jeramiah Adams.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at 10-11 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.
