James Oscar Clark, 50, New Haven

James Oscar Clark, 50, of New Haven, died suddenly at his home Saturday, March 23, 2013.

He was a lifelong resident of New Haven and a Catholic by faith. He worked for Lewis Tile as a tile setter. He was preceded in death by his father, William Oscar Clark.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Louise Clark of New Haven; five sisters, Phyllis Grimes and her husband Carlos, and Jeanie Flahiff and her husband Martin, all of Bardstown, Angela Smith and her husband Joe Paul, and Pamela Shane and Patricia Shane, all of New Haven; and two brothers, Carl Clark and his wife Betsy, and Phillip Clark, all of New Haven.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial is in Holy Cross Church Cemetery in Holy Cross.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, and 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Have. A prayer service is 6 p.m. Monday.

The Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
