Sharon D. Smith, 59, Cox’s Creek

Sharon D. Smith, 59, of Cox’s Creek, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born July 28, 1953, in Cynthiana. She was an employee of Heaven Hill Distillery and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in LaGrange.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Duncan; and one brother, George Duncan Jr.

She is survived by her husband, David Smith of Cox’s Creek; two daughters, Laura (Brook) Corey and Terry (Chip) Davis, both of Crestwood; one son, David (Chrissy) Smith V of Panama City Beach, Fla.; her mother, Leona Duncan of Pewee Valley; two sisters, Lori (Billy) Simmons, and Cindy Duncan; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

The funeral is 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.

Visitation will is 2–3 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the funeral died.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
