Karen Leslie Case Gossett, 51, Frankfort

Karen Leslie Case Gossett, 51, of Frankfort, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Hospice Care Center in Lexington.

She was a former Financial Aid Records Manager at Kentucky State University and a former employee of Farmer’s Bank Cardinal Hill branch. She was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church, was involved with Native Preserves Conservation Group and was a Kentucky Colonel. She was a 1979 graduate of Bardstown High School.

Survivors include her daughter, Destiny Slattery Harrod and her husband Brian, both of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Kara Ann Harrod, Abigail Brooke Harrod and William Gage Harrod; a close family friend, Connie Harrod; and other family members in Nelson County.

A memorial prayer service and gathering of family and friends was held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013. at West Frankfort Church of God with Rev. Wade Hughes officiating.
