Pauline Montgomery, 87, Bardstown

Pauline Montgomery, 87, of Bardstown, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born July 3, 1925, in Fairfield. She was a lifelong homemaker and a member of Fairfield Second Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three daughters, Wanda Montgomery, Mary Jo Montgomery and Raynetta Montgomery; and her parents, Albert and Lena Summers Hughes.

She is survived by eight daughters, Kathleen Williams and her husband, Charles “Buddy,” Margaret Maddox, Marilyn Shouse, Barbara Edwards and her husband Lee, Linda Harper and Theodora Montgomery, all of Bardstown, Brenda Godsey and her husband Michael, both of Radcliff, and Beverly Montgomery of Louisville; three sons, Raymond “Bubby” Montgomery and his wife Margaret, both of Lexington, James Montgomery of Bardstown and David Montgomery and his wife Jackie, both of Chesapeake, Va.;
37 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the Fairfield Second Baptist Church with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Bro. Shawn Stinson will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the Fairfield Second Baptist Church.

Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
