Virginia Catherine ‘Gin’ Weller Hornback, 92, Lyons Station

Virginia Catherine “Gin” Weller Hornback, 92, of Lyons Station, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at her home. She was born June 4, 1920, in Lyons Station. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Rena Mae Washer Weller. She was a life member of the Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Roy Muster Hornback; three brothers, William Weller, Logan Weller and Floyd Weller.

Survivors include three sons, Roger Hornback and his wife Mary, Steve Hornback, and Tommy Hornback and his wife Joyce, all of Lyons Station; one sister, Mildred “Till” Beeler of Floyds Knobs, Ind.; one brother, Eddie Weller of Hodgenville; one sister-in-law, Patty Harned Weller of Hodgenville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at the Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station with the Rev. Tim Underhill officiating. Burial is in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, and 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St., New Haven.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
