Eleanore Mary Bowman, 85, Fairfield

Eleanore Mary Bowman, 85, of Fairfield, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at her home. She was a native of Sonora, a former employee of Famco and Bowman and Son Hydraulic Service. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Viva Spencer Fox. She was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Wolfe; six brothers, ; Joe Fox, Bob Fox, Lowell Fox, Terry Fox, Glenn Fox, Jr., and Red Fox.

She is survived by her husband; William “Bill” Bowman; two daughters, Kathie Estrada and her husband Jesse, both of San Antonio, Texas, Karol Ann Tuke and her husband Chris, both of Latonia; three sons, Michael Bowman of Fairfield, Mark Bowman and his wife Sandra, both of Lawrenceburg; Matt Bowman and his wife Carmel, both of Bardstown; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, from St. Michael Catholic Church in Fairfield with the Rev. David Carr as celebrant. Cremation will follow the service.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with a prayer service Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army and the Crusade for Children.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
