Beatrice Neathery, 93, Bardstown

Beatrice Neathery, 93, of Bardstown, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Colonial Health and Rehab in Bardstown. She was a native of Spencer County. She was a farmer and a homemaker and a member of the Chaplin Highview Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Darwin Johnson and Lydia Ellen Ashby Thomas; her husband, James B. Nethery; and five brothers, Homer Thomas, Charles Thomas, Ray Thomas, Roy Thomas and Darwin Thomas Jr.

She is survived by one daughter, Jane Gray and her husband Kennth Bruce, both of Georgetown; one sister Hazel Holt of Brownsburg, Ind.; and two grandchildren, Allison Stone and her husband Jacob, and Jason Bruce Gray.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Calvin Runner officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin.

Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the Houghlin Funeral Home.

The family requests expression of sympathy take the form of contributions to Chaplin Highview Church of Christ.

The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
