B. Frances Lafollette, 80, of Bardstown, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born April 11, 1933, in Nelson County. She attended Nazareth College in Louisville and retired from Capital Holding, Inc. after 33 years of service as a data processor. She was a 3rd Order Dominican. She was a fulltime volunteer for the Catholic Network of Volunteer Services for three years, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for three years and the Sacred Heart Home for three years. She was a member of St. Catherine’s of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Edgar and Mary Ethel Dones Lafollette; two brothers, Roy E. Lafollette, Jr., and Thomas Curtis Lafollette; and two sisters, Mary Arlene Hinkle and Mary Estelle Dennis.

She is survived by one brother, Joseph Bernard Lafollette of New Haven and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at St. Catherine’s of Alexandria in New Haven with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Troy Overton is the celebrant.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Masses for Frances Lafollette.

Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
