Woman injured in early Sunday morning ATV crash on Roberts Road

Sunday, April 28, 2013, 3 a.m. — An ATV accident on Roberts Road left a 40-year-old woman with possible back injuries early Sunday morning. Nelson County EMS and police were called out at about 2:36 a.m. to the accident, located north of Anthony Greenwell Lane. The injured woman complained of shortness of breath, and back pain.  Due to weather conditions, a medical helicopter was unable to respond to transport the victim. EMS transported the victim to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
