BUCK WETHINGTON
Buck Wethington, 76, of Raywick, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at his daughter’s home in Raywick. He was born Oct. 13, 1936, in Washington County. He was a farmer and an avid horseman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Mary Cecilia Wethington; three brothers, Joe Wethington, Ronnie Wethington and Jerry Wethington; and one sister, Edna Curtsinger.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Wethington of Lebanon;
two daughters, Donna Wethington of St. Mary’s and Glenna Thompson and her husband Dan, both of Raywick;
two sons, Kevin Wethington of Lebanon, and Troy Wethington of Saint Joe;
four sisters, Anna Marg Mattingly and her husband Viella, both of Loretto, Norma Lee Ballard of Manton, Genny Coulter of Lebanon and Laverne Derringer of Loretto;
one brother, Steve Wethington of Springfield;
eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with burial in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick. Bro. Robbie Harmon will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Dan Thompson, Mark Downs, Kevin Wethington, Troy Wethington, Austin Wethington and David Wethington
Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
