Bill Rogers, 74, of Bardstown, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at his home. He was born June 17, 1938, in Nelson County. He was owner of Bloomfield Liquors, and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Toni Michelle Ballard; his parents, Robert Leon and Mildred Boone Rogers; two brothers, Joseph Paul Rogers and Dallas Rogers; and one sister, Barbara Garrett.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Juanita Rogers of Bardstown; three daughters, Terry Renee Spalding of Bardstown, Tracy Leah (Timmy) Cheek of Bloomfield, and Tammy J. (Danny) Wimsatt of Bloomfield; two sons, William T. (Debbie) Rogers and Troy Dean (Jessica) Rogers both of Bardstown; one sister, Lynette Williams of Irvington; one stepson, Robert Hutchinson of Boston; one stepdaughter, Connie McMillan of Eastview; one brother, Cyril (Peggy) Rogers of Cox’s Creek; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with burial in church cemetery. The Rev. Ben Brown will officiate.

Visitation is noon-7 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
