CHARLES DERRICK HUTCHINS
Charles Derrick Hutchins, 24, of Loretto, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at UofL Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon and Kathleen Hutchins.
He was born March 25, 1989, in Marion County. He was a 2007 graduate of Marion County High School. He formerly worked as a millwright with Summit Staffing in Texas.
Survivors include his parents, Tony and Mary Kaye Hutchins of Loretto; one son, Preston Hutchins of Bloomfield; two sisters, Erin Hutchins and Kathleen Hutchins at home; his girlfriend, Lisa Hayden of Lebanon; his grandparents, Don and Nell Hughes of Loretto; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown, with burial to follow iat Holy Rosary cemetery in Manton. The Rev. Charles D. Walker will be the celebrant.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Pallbearers are his cousins, Joey Newton, Terry Lee Yates, Travis Thomas, Jessie Newton, Robert Morgeson and Shawn Newton.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
