FRANCES MARIE MATTINGLY LEE

Frances Marie Mattingly Lee, 88, of Lebanon, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Center. She was born March 9, 1925, in Marion County. She was a retired employee of Jane & Linda Sportswear and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lee, Jr.; her parents, Joe and Mary Sally Russell Mattingly; one infant son, James Louis Lee; five sisters, Marguerite Smith, Lillian Stutegille, Louise Mattingly, Anna Mae Blandford, and Catherine Rose Lacefield; three brothers, Ernest Mattingly, Alvin Mattingly, and Leo Mattingly.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Ann (David) White of Lexington, Kathy Welch of Lexington, Janet Lee of Lexington, and Susan (David) Leininger of Lexington; three sons, Donald (Linda) Lee of RaywickY, Dennis (Saundra) Lee of Bardstown, and Joe (Karen) Lee of Nicholasville; one sister, Thelma Van Dyke of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon with the Rev. Bill Bowling officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Bosley Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
