Don Deroy Blakey, 54, Chaplin

Don Deroy Blakey, 54, of Chaplin, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, of a single vehicle accident in Bloomfield. He was a native of Chicago and worked as a roofer in the construction industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Amond Green Blakey.

He is survived by one daughter, Julie Osborne of Ekron; and four sons, Don Rose Blakey of Louisville, Christopher L. Blakey of New Carlisle, Ohio, Brandon Knabel and Kullan Blakey both of Salem, Ind.

Cremation was chosen by the family and a memorial service will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013.
