Candlelight vigil set for 9 p.m. for slain Bardstown police officer

Monday, May 27, 2013 — A candlelight vigil is set for 9 p.m. tonight at the Bardstown Police Department to honor the memory of Officer Jason Ellis. The community is invited to participate in this tribute.

The police department has a limited number of candles available, and those who plan to attend are encouraged to bring their own candles.

The Bardstown Police Department is located on the west side of the Nelson County Justice Center complex next to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office.
