Meade County man dies in domestic dispute with estranged wife

Monday, June 3, 2013, 12:50 a.m. — Kentucky State Police say a Meade county man died from a gunshot wound Saturday afternoon after a domestic dispute with his estranged wife.

According to KSP Post 4 in Elizabethtown, Breckinridge County Dispatch received a call in reference to a domestic dispute with shots fired at 1:35 p.m. Saturday. Kentucky State Police troopers found Joshua Babb, 32, dead from a gunshot wound to the head. Babb’s estranged wife, Ashley Babb, was at the home when the shooting occurred. KSP Trooper Jason Drane is investigating the incident. He was assisted by the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, Breckinridge County EMS and KSP troopers.
