Nelson Circuit Court Indictments-June 5, 2013

Friday, June 7, 2013 – The following people were indicted by a Nelson County grand jury on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. They are set for arraignment on Thursday, June 20, 2013, unless otherwise indicated.

13-CR-122. Courtney N. Decker, 20, Shepherdsville, possession of controlled substance, first-degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; public intoxication (excludes alcohol).

According to the indictment, on April 9, 2013, Decker allegedly was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The indictment further states Decker was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance or other intoxicating substance. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-123. Terry Wayne Johnson, 34, Bardstown, manufacturing methamphetamine; trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree, less than 2 grams of methamphetamine); tampering with physical evidence; possession of a controlled substance, first-degree (2 counts); possession of a controlled substance, second-degree; possession of a controlled substance, third-degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; persistent felony offender, first-degree.

According to the indictment on May 9, 2013, Johnson manufactured methamphetamine and was in possession of less than two grams of methamphetamine with intent to sell it. The indictment states when Johnson was aware of an official preceding against him, he allegedly hid an active one-step bottle in the back floor board of his vehicle. The indictment states Johnson was also allegedly in possession of amphetamines and other unspecified drugs, and drug paraphernalia. The indictment cites Johnson’s prior felony convictions as the basis for the persistent felony offender charge. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only plus conditions.

13-CR-124. James Kenneth Howard, 40, Boston, fraudulanet insurance acts over $300; possession of a forged instrument, second-degree.

According to the indictment, between Nov. 4, 2009 and Aug. 31, 2011, Howard allegedly presented fraudulent insurance claims to Grange Insurance and AFLAC Insurance knowing the claims contained incomplete or misleading information. On Jan. 18, 2010, Feb. 17, 2101, April 8, 2010, and Aug. 21, 2010, the indictment alleges that Howard possessed a forged AFLAC claim form. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-125. Debra Wampler, 52, Bardstown, possession of a controlled substance, first-degree; possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the indictment, on March 20, 2013, Wampler allegedly possessed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-126. David Allen Hamilton, 46, Bardstown, trafficking in controlled substances, first-degree (cocaine); possession of drug paraphernalia; trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 ounces); persistent felony offender, first-degree.

According to the indictment, on Sept. 5, 2013, Hamilton allegedly sold cocaine in an amount less than four grams, to a confidential source. Hamilton was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia and possessed less than 8 ounces of marijuana with intent to sell. Hamilton’s prior felony convictions were the basis of the persistent felony charge. Bail was set at $50,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-127. Richard Andrews Snellen, 50, Bardstown, receiving stolen property.

According to the indictment, on May 23, 2013, Snellen allegedly received, retained or disposed of a 1994 Mercury Villager belonging to another person having a value of $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.

13-CR-128. Bradley G. Hildabrand, 18, Big Clifty, receiving stolen property.

According to the indictment, on March 5, 2013, Hildabrand allegedly received, retained or disposed of a 1997 Ford pickup truck belonging to another person having a value of $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail was to be set at arraignment.

13-CR-129. Christopher David Bade, 28, Bardstown, receiving stolen property.

According to the indictment, between April 29, 2013 and May 6, 2013, Bade allegedly received, retained or disposed of various tools belonging to another person having a value of $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions.
