MARY BRENDA STUMP
Mary Brenda Stump, 65, of Bardstown, died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the residence of her daughter in Springfield. She was born Jan. 15, 1948, in Nelson County. She was a nursing assistant for Dr. Emmett Wood and a former employee of Walmart and Hardee’s.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Mary Clark Ritchie; one brother, Hugh Thomas Ritchie; and one sister, Frances Julia “Judy” Ritchie.
She is survived by two daughters, Delisa (Timothy) Mattingly of Springfield, and Tracy (James) Perkins of Bardstown; four grandchildren, Stephanie Renee Perkins, Travis Mattingly, Lauren Mattingly and Johnathan Thomas Perkins.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at St. Rose Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Kevin McGrath will be celebrant.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 and 8:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with a prayer service Monday at 7 p.m.
The family request expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Nelson County, 202 W. Stephen Foster, Bardstown, KY., 40004.
Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
