Bardstown Domino’s Pizza restaurant robbed at gunpoint Sunday night

Monday, June 17, 2013, 2 a.m. — Domino’s Pizza in Bardstown was robbed at gunpoint about 10 p.m. Sunday night.

A man armed with a pistol and dressed in black robbed the store and fled on foot down East Daughtery Avenue. The suspect was described as a white male, 5 foot 6 to 5-foot-8 in height and weighing about 250 pounds. Witnesses said the man may have had a scruffy beard.

Police search the area and had an eyewitness report of a man running south down an alley toward Northgate Apartments after a police car passed through the area.

The investigation by Bardstown Police is ongoing.
