Charles Jessie Lyvers, 86, Cox’s Creek
Charles Jessie Lyvers, 86, of Cox’s Creek, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his daughters home in Shepherdsville. He was born May 8, 1927, in Nelson County. He was a retired plumber for Brown Heating and Air and a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lyvers; one daughter, Michelle Rose Lyvers; one son, James Earl Lyvers; his parents, Rafe and Mary Lyvers; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by four daughters, Cathy Ryan (Shon Shepherd) of Bloomfield, Betty Lyvers (Jimmy Faulkenburg) of Boston, and Annie (Tony) Caudill of Munfordsville and Sherry (Bobby) Compton of Shepherdsville; two sons, Homer Lyvers and Darrell (Bonnie) Lyvers, both of Bardstown; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his companion, Delores St. Clair of Cox’s Creek.
The funeral was noon Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memorial Garden in Mount Washington with Phillip Fortwengler officiating.
Memorial contributions may go towards his funeral expenses.
Barlow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
