Ethel Harrell, 82, Bardstown

Ethel Harrell, 82, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at her home. She was born May 6, 1931, in Nelson County. She was a caregiver and a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Harrell, and Terry Harrell; her parents, Lillard and Marie Bailey; one sister, Bertha Williams; and three brothers, Robert Bailey, Roy Bailey, and Lillard “Jr.” Bailey.

She is survived by four sons, Buddy Harrell, Leon (Arlene) Harrell, Mark Harrell, all of Bardstown, and Mike Harrell of Ethowah, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary Reynolds, and Linda Borne, both of Bardstown; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with a private burial in The First Cedar Creek Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Tim Lucas will officiate.

Visitation is 3–8 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, and 9–11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home.
