Outdoor fire pit prompts investigation by city firefighters
Tuesday, July 9, 2013, 11:40 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the 100 block of Bluegrass Court for a report of smoke in the area just after 8 p.m. Tuesday. The incident commander arrived on scene and tracked the smoke source down to an attended fire pit behind a nearby home. The response by additional fire units was canceled.
