Cox’s Creek man injured after overturned mower traps his leg

Wednesday, July 17, 2013, 1:10 a.m. — A Cox’s Creek man was injured Tuesday night when the lawnmower he was operating overturned, trapping his leg beneath it. The accident happened at about 10:40 Tuesday night in the 200 block of Spalding Lane. The Bardstown Fire Department was called to help free the victim from the overturned lawnmower. Nelson County EMS transported the man directly to University Hospital in Louisville for treatment.
