Help correct the past and protect future veterans. An opening prayer was given by Charlie Wachowski. Dan Powers, owner of the dealership spoke of his support to the Chapter and the POW/MIA cause. A Certificate #2-DAN-POWERS-OWNER-OF-DAN-of Appreciation Plaque was given to Dan Powers from Chapter Four for his participation and support throughout the years for the good of the organization. The flag detail was Jim and Terry Colgrove, Joe Newton Jr, Doug Matthews and Dan Debrauskas. Mike Hill, Chapter Vice President gave a history of the POW/MIA flag. The wife of a MIA serviceman recognized the need for a symbol for the POW/MIAs. The design chosen depicted a silhouette of a man’s head with barbed wire and a watchtower in the background. Below that design is the motto “You Are Not Forgotten.” With the exception of the American flag, the POW/MIA flag is the only flag to fly over the White House and fly continually over the Capitol’s rotunda.
