Two taken to hospital after fight breaks out at Bardstown Wal-Mart
Sunday, July 21, 2013, 1:45 p.m. — Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in a fight that began inside the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Bardstown. Several Bardstown Police officers and two Nelson County EMS ambulances were called to the Bardstown retailer after the fight was reported by bystanders in the store. One witness reported that a Taser had been deployed in the incident.
One victim involved in the altercation, a 22-year-old woman, was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of neck, jaw, back and stomach pain. The second victim was also transported to Flaget. Police accompanied the victims to the Flaget ER. Bardstown Police are investigating the incident. The fight was reported at about 1:15 p.m.
