Ann Denues Rogers, 52, Glendale

Ann Denues Rogers, 52, of Glendale, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

She was a native of Lexington and a registered nurse for the Lincoln Trail Health Department in Nelson County, and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Allison Ann Rogers; her parents, James E. and Nancy (Denues) Wessels; and one brother, James Wessels.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church of Rineyville.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Rogers of Glendale;  one daughter, Sarah E. Rogers of Glendale; and two sons, Phillip A. Rogers of Glendale and Adam D. (Kelsey) Rogers of Leitchfield.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at St. John Catholic Church in Rineyville with the Rev. Dan Lincoln officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A prayer service was held Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
