ROSE MARIE YATES

Rose Marie Yates, 66, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. She was born July 8, 1947, in Washington County and was a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William “Frankie” Bryant; her second husband, Billy Joe Stewart; her parents, Frank and Gertie Yates; and one brother, William L. “Yankee” Yates.

She is survived by four daughters, Vickie (Alan) Detherage of Raywick, Jacqueline (Alan) Greenwell, Billie Marie Bryant, Anna (Todd) Bowman, all of Bardstown; one son, William Lester (Lora) Bryant of Bardstown; four sisters, Barbara Hamilton, Dorothy Downs, Leona Thompson, and Shelia Bryant all of Bardstown; two brothers, Kenny Settles of Louisville, and Gerald D. Yates of Bardstown; and seven grandchildren, Megan Hazelip, David Greenwell, Ashley Greenwell, Matthew Bryant, Courtney Bryant, T.J. Bowman, and Cody Bryant.

Visitation is 3–8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home with a private burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may go to The American Heart Association.
