Boston firefighters called to investigate flaming pipe near distillery
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, 7 p.m. — The Boston Fire Department was called to the area of the Jim Beam Booker Noe Distillery on Lebanon Junction Road for a report of flames coming from a pipe across the road from the distillery near a large tank. Firefighters were called out at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. On arrival, firefighters determined the flames were part of a controlled burn in progress. The firefighters left the scene at 6:38 p.m.
