Valerie Jean Holt, 28, of New Haven, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, after an ATV accident in LaRue County.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Buford “Mike” Holt; her maternal grandparents, Henry and Tee Rust; her paternal grandfather, R.B. Holt; one aunt, Anita Holt; one uncle, Gerald “Jerry” Rust; and one cousin, Jeremy Rust.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Vicky and Gary Boren; her stepmother, Debbie Holt; 0ne sister, Katherine Boren; two brothers, Matthew (Cara) Holt, and Wes (Kellie) Holt; one stepsister, Dara (Robbie) Cottrill; one stepbrother, Derek (Deb) Ford; nieces and nephews Taylor Holt, Kenadie Holt, Briar Holt and Cole Holt; her maternal grandmother, Mary Sue Holt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in New Haven with Bro. Bruce Nichols presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 4, 2013, at the Rolling Fork Baptist Church in New Haven.
