Motorcylist injured Saturday night in single-vehicle crash near Boston

Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, 1:50 a.m. — A motorcycle rider was seriously injured Saturday night about midnight in a crash that happened in the 9900 block of Boston Road. Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single-vehicle accident outside Boston. Passers-by reported the man was not breathing and they initiated CPR until members of the Boston Fire Department and the EMS ambulance arrived. The victim — described as a man about 35 — was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital. The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident.
