Volunteer fire department hosting Safety Day Open House Oct. 5th
Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, 8:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Nelson County Volunteer Fire Department is inviting everyone to a Safety Day Open House, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at the main Station 1 firehouse on West Broadway and North 5th Street.The Safety Day Open House is open to the public and there will be food, games for kids and adults, the safety smoke trailer and Pluggie the fire plug. Firefighters will be on hand to educate on good safety practices.
