U.S. Rep. Massie to headline ‘Stand for Liberty’ tonight at Kreso’s

Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 — U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie (KY-4) will be speaking Saturday at “Stand for Liberty,” a bipartisan grassroots event that begins at 6 p.m. Saturday at Kreso’s Restaurant in Bardstown.
Massie was one of Sen. Rand Paul’s earliest grassroots supporters, and most recently was the first Kentucky congressman to speak out against a U.S. attack on Syria. The meeting is sponsored by The Bardstown/Nelson County Tea Party.
Additional speakers on the agenda include Tom Barbour of the Bardstown/Nelson County Tea Party; Adrienne Gilbert of Take Back Kentucky; Robert Augustine, Nelson County GOP Chairman; state Rep. David Floyd; and Kenny Fogle, a member of the executive committee of the Nelson County Democratic Party.
There is no charge to attend the event, and attendees may order from Kreso’s menu.
