Police find hundreds of pot plants in woods off Parkway Drive

On Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Bardstown Police and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office removed 400 to 500 marijuana plants from a wooded area Friday afternoon off Parkway Drive. The plants were in various stages of maturity and ranged from 3 to 15 feet tall. The estimated street value of the marijuana was $400,000-500,000.
