Early Saturday morning vehicle fires reported as possible arson
Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, 10 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department and Bardstown Police responded early Saturday morning to an apparent domestic-related arson fire involving two vehicles in the 200 block of South Second Street. After arriving on scene, firefighters found both vehicles fully involved in flames with electrical lines overhead and a nearby residence threatened by the fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and prevented its spread. Firefighters were called out at 4:28 a.m. and were on scene for about 90 minutes. Bardstown Police investigated the incident.
