Obituary: Timothy David Hobbs, 31, Bardstown

Timothy David Hobbs, 31, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at his home. He was a native of Bardstown, a graduate of Bardstown High School and a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl Hobbs; one brother, Bobby Newton; and his maternal grandmother, Lucille Raikes.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Eva and Dean Newton of Bardstown; three sisters, Sue Ann Hutchins of Lawrenceburg, Dina Newton of Louisville, and Danielle Haist of Ind.; and four brothers, Ralph Adams both of Lawrenceburg, Freddy Hobbs and Michael Dean, both of Louisville and Joseph Newton of Bardstown.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Pastor Robert Tilley will officiate.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at the funeral home.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
