Drivers injured after two-vehicle crash on Cathedral Manor
Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, 8 p.m. — Two people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in the 400 block of Cathedral Manor. The drivers of a late model Toyota and a Chevrolet Impala. The Bardstown Fire Department was called to open the driver’s side door to help get one of the victims from her vehicle. After firefighters extricated the victim they stayed on scene to assist Nelson County EMS. The 56-year-old female driver of one vehicle who complained of leg pain and abrasions on the upper chest, and the 68-year-old female driver of the other vehicle who complained of shoulder pain and left hip and leg pain were both transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment. The crash blocked Cathedral Manor for about 35 minutes.
