Obituary: Katherine Elizabeth Siegrist, 88, Bardstown

KATHERINE ELIZABETH SIEGRIST

Katherine Elizabeth Siegrist, 88, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Nelson County. She was a production supervisor for Bardstown Manufacturing for more than 30 years. She was a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star No. 436.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Adessa Dones Siegrist; and two sisters, Dorothy Hayden and Lucille Siegrist.

She is survived by her nephew, Mark Hayden (Deborah) of Charleston, S.C.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with burial in The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Tim Lucas will officiate.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at the funeral home.

Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
