fireshieldThursday, Sept. 26, 2013, 6:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in one of the cabins in the Old Bardstown Village complex about 4:15 Wednesday afternoon. The first fire units on scene reported seeing light smoke coming from the roof of one of the cabins. Firefighters found a small fire in a cabin and extinguished the fire. After the fire was out, firefighters requested a Bardstown Police officer respond because the fire was suspected to be an act of arson.
