Two injured Saturday in Louisville Road motorcycle crash

Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, 10:15 p.m. — A Louisville man and woman were injured Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle they were riding left the 9600 block of Louisville Road and crashed. Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were called to the area of Whitney Stables north of Cox’s Creek about 1:42 p.m. A second EMS squad responded to help the initial ambulance crew get the victims from the ditch. The couple were transported from the accident scene directly to University Hospital in Louisville for treatment of their injuries, which included lower back and neck pain, cuts, bruises, and a broken arm.
