Pregnant woman taken to Flaget Hospital following 2-vehicle crash

Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, 4:20 p.m. — A 21-year-old pregnant woman was injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Third Street and East West John Rowan in front of Town & Country Bank. The crash was first reported at 3:50 p.m. as non-injury, but Nelson County EMS was called when the victim complained of lower abdominal, back and neck pain. She was transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment of her injuries.
