City police pursue road-rage perp into woods off Old Bloomfield Pike

Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, 7:02 p.m. — City police responded to a report of alleged road rage late Sunday evening. A woman driving a pickup truck into town on Boston Road was being pursued by three subjects in a blue car, one of which was an individual the woman was going to testify against in a court proceeding.

Dispatchers instructed the woman to drive to the police department. When the car following the woman turned off at Old Bloomfield Pike, Bardstown police intercepted the car near Keene’s Depot where a male subject ran from the vehicle and into the woods behind the business. Police are out at this time searching for the subject, and have his two companions with the car. The man was described as a white male about 5-foot 9-inches tall with a burr haircut and wearing camoflauge clothing.
