Police asked to investigate break-in at old Heaven Hill distillery complex
Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, 10:36 a.m. — An officer from the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is responding to the old Heaven Hill distillery complex for a break-in that happened last week. The distillery complex was gutted by the intense Nov. 7, 1996 fire that destroyed the distillery and consumed more than 90,000 gallons of aging Kentucky Bourbon.
