Bevin to speak at Spencer County Tea Party meeting Oct. 17

Oct. 6, 2013, 8:45 p.m. — Matt Bevin, the Republican Senate primary challenger to Mitch McConnell, will be speaking at the October meeting of the Spencer County Tea Party 7 p.m. Oct. 17th at the Kentucky Farm Bureau building, 695 Taylorsville Road in Taylorsville.

Bevin has lived in Kentucky since 1999 and has served on numerous non-profit boards and served as chairman of the board of Louisville American Red Cross chapter. He has also been involved in mission projects to benefit orphanages in Africa and India. He and his wife have nine children, four of which were adopted from Ethiopia.
