Bardstown firefighters called to restaurant for smoke reported inside the building

fireshieldOct. 7, 2013, 10:20 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to Hardee’s restaurant, 707 N. Third St., for a report of smoke in the building. Firefighters arrived and found that the business had experienced an electrical problem earlier in the morning and an electrician had been called to make needed repairs. There was no smoke in the building when firefighters arrived. Firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes before returning to station.
