Juveniles avoid injury in Helsinki Hill single-vehicle rollover crash

Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, 12:30 a.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were called to a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday evening about 6 p.m. on Helsinki Hill in the 7300 block of New Haven Road. Firefighters responded due to victims possibly trapped in the vehicle. Fire crews arrived to find both occupants — juveniles — out of the overturned vehicle. EMS crews had to wait for parents of the juveniles to respond before they both refused treatment by EMS.
