Kenneth D. Johnson, 84, Cox’s Creek

Kenneth D. Johnson, 84, of Cox’s Creek, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. funeral_flower8, 1929, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was a heavy equipment construction worker, a member of Duval Masonic Lodge # 6 and Shriners International. He was a member of the Kentucky Mounted Patrol Search and Rescue.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Johnson.

He is survived by his living companion, Gail Mudd of Cox’s Creek; two sons, Jerry Johnson of Anaheim, Calif., and Jason Johnson of Hollywood, Calif.;
two sisters, Verna Pringle of British Columbia, Canada, and Bernice Dawds of Alberta, Canada; one brother, Alan Johnson of Delaware; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Barlow Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.

Memorial contributions may go to Kosair Children’s Hospital.

Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown is in charge of arrangements.
