EMS called to football game for player knocked unconscious

Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, 10:20 a.m. — Nelson County EMS was called to the Bardstown High School football field at about 8:12 Friday night for a player who was knocked unconscious during the game against Thomas Nelson High School. On their arrival, EMS personnel were told the player was up and walking and they had no patient. An EMS squad stayed on standby for the remainder of the football game. Bardstown High won 63-0.
